Slipknot is a band of alternative metal, formed in 1995 in Des Moines, Iowa . Since 1999, supporting their education after several changes in it. Its members are Chris Fehn, Corey Taylor , Craig Jones, James Root , Joey Jordison, Mick Thompson , Paul Gray, Shawn Crahan and Sid Wilson ; all used masks. Slipknot
uses two types of guitar (main rhythm), bass, two percussionists , and a single battery , and electronic instruments as samplers or mixers . The band's sound has been described as "a threshing machine devouring a military drum corps." [1] The vocalist Corey Taylor also incorporates diverse vocal styles, such as guttural voice, melodic singing and rapping , while the lyrics generally have an aggressive tone. Nergal is the only original member of the band. project began in 1990 with a low quality recordings and Endless Damnation The Return of the Northern Moon, the most significant was the Pagan Vastlands From 1993 done, which showed the potential of Nergal as and writer composer.
After signing a little-known label Italy called Entropy, the band recorded their first mini album entitled And the Forests Dream Eternally in the year 1994, followed by his official debut with the album Sventevith (Storming near the Baltic), made by the Polish label Pagan. This album gave the band international fame, and had the opportunity to sign with German label and record their second album entitled Grom. With Grom the band had their first tour of Europe (Pagan Triumph tour 1996) and won approval from fans of the metal scene. Then came the job
Pandemonic called Incantations, engraved with a new lineup which highlights the drummer Inferno, who was gradually changing the style of the band. This album show the quality of Behemoth, making it famous Poland and other European countries. After an extensive tour in autumn 1998 , the band would take a paper entitled Satanica. The success of this recording was reflected in the tours we had with Deicide and Satyricon . In this very successful period changes also come into the formation of the band. In the lower reaches Novy (Vader current member of ) and a guitarist Havok. Thelema.6
